Compatible hand held devices can connect at 3G and 4G speed. The growing list of mobile phones and devices includes the iPhone and Google Android.

The 16-channel Nubix 16RT is a professional security DVR that provides simultaneous Real Time recording on all channels. You can watch a single camera at a time or select split screen functions and watch combinations of different cameras or all 16 cameras at once. Digital zoom lets you magnify points of interest. Search your video by event or time or - if you're using a POS interface - by text.

Easy to Program Thanks to Linux

An imbedded Linux operating system with a graphical user interface lies at the heart of this DVR. This makes programming and setup menus easy to navigate. It's a snap to set up event-triggered functions like having the DVR email you if it detects unauthorized activity. This makes the Nubix 16RT a perfect watchdog on unattended properties.

If the multilingual GUI (graphical user interface) ever needs an update you can download it for free from our support site. Put it on a USB flash drive (supplied with the DVR) and then follow the menu driven instructions to upgrade your DVR.

Recording

The Nubix 16RT Real Time Security DVR can record on all 16 channels simultaneously at 30ips (real time) in CIF mode. Half D1 and D1 resolution modes are also available. Picture quality settings are adjustable per camera and allow fine tuning of several different quality and image parameters.

Easy LAN Connection and Setup

Connect to local area networks quickly using the RJ45 style connector on the back. You can expect trouble-free communication with TCP/IP, DHCP, DDNS and PPoE protocols available.

Remote Operation - View with PC, Cell Phone, PDA

This Nubix product can be viewed in a number of ways - PDA, PC and cell phone - making it a valuable addition to any CCTV surveillance network.

First, you can use a PC and commonly available browsers (Windows IE included). While the product does have a specific CMS program for camera management services, you don't need it to view your cameras. Any PC anywhere can be used. Of course if you have the CMS client software installed you get more functionality, but you may still view attached CCTV cameras and perform basic functions without it.

You can also your 3G and 4G hand held device for viewing the video stream. Compatible mobile phones include the iPhone (3G and 4G models) and Google Android.
