Its radiant infrared subsystem cast a beam of invisible IR light up to 90-feet in total darkness. High resolution video image quality (500+ TV lines) is further enhanced by a mechanical IR filter that protects images from focus shift when switching from day to night time video.

The all-metal case has a removable sun/light shield. A through-bracket cable feed route prevents vandals from interfering with the power and video signal cable.
